i am a new comer to the SL world i have done my research after research after research, i have seen more pics than my eyes n mind can handle trying to see different textures, styles, faces etc... i stopped perm n my hair about 6mths ago because i was experiencing problems with my hair thinning on the top, that's when i came across SLs, i will go for my installation on Sat 5/15/10 my hair is short i use to have very long hair until i wanted to try sum n diff. n cut it all off so i am nervous about how i will look (im a nervous roller coaster) until i came across your blog!! you changed my whole look on the SL journey your photos are an inspiration to me and your humor as well. My hair is very thick longer in the front and shorter in the back n sides (41/2 front 31/2 sides n 21/2 bak). When i read her Journey (Love, Life & Lockes -London) i was no longer worried nor concerned as much as i have been deez couple of dayz i learned that you will always have to crawl b4 you walk in anything you do in life so my installation will be my crawling stage then when i get pass that i will be in my walking stage @ both stages with my head held high. your locs are GORGEOUS AND YOU LUK GR8 wear n them!!! I am wearing my hair in braids (Kinky Twists micros) n my SL consultant told me that wasn't helping my hair at all (which i knew it wouldn't) but i didn't know what else 2 do i have an small bald spot on the top left not sure how all this came about but i noticed it a lil after i had my lst child (4yrs ago) of course im concerned about that showing once i get my installation but again im not as worried as b4 i knw i can do things to hide that. Well i am glad i was able to read your blog and tell you a lil bit about me n my Journey I will try to keep posting. N by the way I was born in London, England (Suffolk ) Lakenheith!!!!
